The Path to Healing

At times, we can feel lost in the journey of grief; there are no paved roads, trail markers, or a GPS to assuredly guide us. When we lose our person, the landscape of our entire life changes overnight, leaving us to navigate an unfamiliar terrain.

Right now, we are in summer mode with the kids out of school; the usual rhythm and routine that kept us anchored during the year suddenly shifts. The days can feel long, stretched out, and heavy. While the rest of the world is soaking in the sun and vacationing, our internal world might feel like it’s in a constant state of survival.

All we can do in these times is seek our own path to healing in our own time. Healing isn't a destination you arrive at overnight; it is a trail you will blaze day by day, step by step.
